I'm understandably not too bright and can't get the hang of this blogging. That is why the photos are not arranged so well and why the words come out spaced weirdly, and the last photo of Burroughs Market is sideways. I did't even think I chose that picture. My life is full of mystery.

But wait! You were also the Baby of the Family for 11.5 years before the title was passed to me. And as such, and as a fairly proficient blogger, I believe that there is still hope for you. Keep at it and just pay attention to your photo selections.
Here's today's lesson: Photos and Formatting
Have you noticed that the word spacing is only irregular when the words appear along side of photos? That's because you've elected to place the photos on the left margin. Blogger doesn't hyphenate words and will only put as many words as will fit in the remaining space of each line.
Here's one way to approach this situation. Upload all your desired photos to the compose form first, before writing anything. To keep it simple, select medium as the size and center as the desired position in the upload options panel.
When you're in compose mode in Blogger, you can select and delete any photos that you didn't intend to upload (select and hit the delete key), and drag the ones you do want into whatever order you want them to appear, if necessary.
Use the arrow keys to position the cursor after the first photo, (it's easier than trying to point the cursor there with the mouse),then hit the return key so that whatever you want to write about it appears below the photo. Once you've written about the first picture, hit the return key again to make a space after that part of the text.
Use the arrow keys to again position the cursor after the next photo. Again, hit the return key to have the text appear below that picture. Write. Return.
Repeat as necessary.
If you want to write things before the pictures appear, just position the cursor at the top of the page and write until you want the first picture to appear, hit return, then follow the same instructions.
I hope I haven't made this more complicated by trying to simplify it. Once you become more familiar with the interface, you'll probably find ways that are easier and more intuitive for you. In any case, I'm looking forward to your future posts and photos.
