Mary Ann, Stanley and I venture out to Tower Bridge.

Stanley took this photo of the two old friends. Or maybe I should say two long-term friends!

It's a pretty remarkable sight!

A View of the Tower at Tower Bridge

This is the bridge people think of as London Bridge, but London Bridge is now in Arizona.

We Bring Mary Ann to Queen Ann's Rose Garden

This garden is fantastic. Oh, I know. We blogged lots of photos of this garden last year. But we just can't resist!

July 13, 2008 So who would have imagined that halpinslondonblog would attract such a far reaching (and entrepreneurial) audience? (See the one and only comment on the picture of Freud's House.) Apparently mentioning the name Freud on a publically accessible blog lands us right in the demographic of those with a more than average interest in Viagra. Yes.....I see....Freud....... and sex. It all makes sense..... So, how do we block this kinda thing?

Freud's House

I enlarged this photo so that maybe the names on the plaque are readable. Siggy and his daughter, Anna, lived here after fleeing the Nazis.

Stanley on Ferry to Mull

Mary Ann on the Ferry

Once in a while, we were able to get a shot of Mary Ann. This is on the ferry from Oban to Mull.

Scottish Castle

This was taken on the ferry out of Oban to the Isle of Mull. A brooding landscape, as they say. Or maybe it's just me who says that.

Stanley napping on ferry in Scotland.

One of the few times Mary Ann would allow me to take her picture, here making devil horns above the head of the sleeping Stanley. This is the large ferry we took from Oban (Scotland) to the Isle of Mull. We next took a smaller one from Mull to Iona.
